Chang Tae-il

Chang Tae-il (* 10. April 1965 in Damyang County , South Korea ) is a former South Korean boxer in the super flyweight .

Professional career

In 1981 he began his professional career and boxed only a draw in his debut fight. On May 17, 1987, he fought against Kwon Soon-chun for the world championship title of the IBF Association and won by split judges' decision. He lost this title, however, in his first title defense in October of the same year to Elly Pical on points.

In 1989 he ended his career.
