Life

Álvarez was already playing for the UD Moctezuma in the 1940/41 season , when he was proven to have scored at least six goals in the Liga Mayor , which was then officially an amateur event . There is no information about his stations in the next two seasons (1941/42 and 1942/43). In the opening season of the Liga Mayor , now played as a professional league , he played again (or still?) For Moctezuma.

After the 1944/45 season he moved to Puebla FC , for whom he scored a total of 87 goals over the next five seasons, making him the best first division striker in its history.

After the 1949/50 season he switched to CD Veracruz , where he let his active career end in the 1950/51 season.
