Charaien is a motu of the Ailinginae atoll of the Pacific republic of the Marshall Islands .

geography

Charaien lies in the east of the reef crown of the Ailinginae Atoll, it is one of only three other well-known islets on this side of the atoll and the most northeastern well-known island of the entire atoll. The island is uninhabited and has been contaminated with nuclear power since the Bravo bomb was tested for nuclear weapons . The next island to the south is Bokoryuren .
