Charles Ramsey (ice hockey player)
Charles Ramsey was an American ice hockey player .
Career
Charles Ramsey took part with the US national team at the 1931 Ice Hockey World Championship in Poland , where he won the silver medal with his team. He himself became the tournament's top scorer.
At club level he played for several teams from Paris and helped French ice hockey to become very popular in the 1930s.
In 2009 he was admitted to the Temple de la renown du hockey français . The Charles Ramsey Trophy is named after him and is awarded annually to the top scorer in the main round of Ligue Magnus , the highest French ice hockey division.
