Charles de Lalande ( 1833 - September 29, 1887 in Champigny) was a French architect.

Lalande was the grandson of the astronomer Jérôme Lalande . He received his training as an architect from Charles Garnier .

Nothing is known about Lalande beyond his architectural work. His most important buildings were theaters, the Théâtre de la Renaissance , of which he was the owner, and the theater in Cherbourg called Le Trident are the most prominent. He was also responsible for the construction of the Théâtre des Nouveautés . The reconstruction of today's Théâtre du Gymnase also goes back to Lalandes planning. There is also evidence of a hotel building in Vienna.

In 1882 Lalande was made a Knight of the Legion of Honor . He died after a long illness, consumption , on his estate in Champigny.
