Charles Lee is an American computer scientist who is considered to be the inventor of Litecoin . As chairman of the Litecoin Foundation, he leads the development of Litecoin.

Life

Lee was born in Ivory Coast . When he was 13, he moved to the United States with his family . 2000 obtained a Master of Science degree in computer science from MIT .

He worked for Google until 2013 , then for Coinbase from 2013 to 2017 . In 2017 he announced that he had sold almost all of his Litecoins . He justifies this with the fact that he does not want to play a central role in the Litecoin ecosystem. Many criticized that Lee would influence the Litecoin rate with his tweets .

He is now working full-time at the Litecoin Foundation, which he set up.
