Career

After finishing school in 1958, Wüllner was initially a trainee stage designer at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg . From 1960 to 1961 he studied first at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Hamburg , then from 1960 to 1966 at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Berlin, and has been working as a freelance artist ever since. In 1967, together with Dato Dahlke, Alexander Ehmke and Natias Neutert, he founded the countercultural wham - Büro Kunst, for scenic action and agitation. In 1968 he was actively involved in the scandalous mixed media show in the old art house in Hamburg, as a co-organizer and with his own artistic contribution to meteorology. From 1977 he published regularly in Boa Vista , the Hamburg magazine for new literature and art. The culmination of his career so far was the exhibition of 1140 exhibits from his drawing workshop. In pictures and writing, with fine drawings and brief comments, the artist paid homage to his hometown.
