Chatino (Cha'cña) is an indigenous language in Mexico or several closely related languages ​​spoken by the Chatino ethnic group . It belongs to the Otomangue language family and is most closely related to Zapotec .

The name Cha'cña means "difficult word".

Chatino is spoken by around 48,000 people in the Mexican state of Oaxaca , according to the 2010 census .
