Chełmoński oak

Chełmoński oak

The Chełmoński oak [ xɛw'mɔɲskʲi- ] is a common oak that grows in the Polish village of Korytów in the Radziejowice municipality ( Masovian Voivodeship ) and is recognized as a natural monument . The trunk circumference is approximately 500 centimeters. The oak grows directly on the main road from Żyrardów to Mszczonów .

The oak is named after the Polish painter Józef Chełmoński (1849–1914).
