Chengdu Tianfu District Great City

Chengdu Tianfu District Great City (short-time working title: Great City) is a major project for a planned city with 80,000 inhabitants near Chengdu in the Chinese province of Sichuan . It is designed by the architects Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture with the aim of a self-sufficient city that makes the use of private vehicles largely superfluous. The city should be finished by 2020.
