Chersiphron
Chersiphron , (* 6th century BC in Knossós on Crete ), was a Greek architect .
Chersiphron began with his son Metagenes around 580/560 BC. The construction of the famous temple of Artemis in Ephesus , which was built in 356 BC. Was destroyed by arson by Herostratus . The construction of the temple is said to have taken 120 years.
