The Cheu Valley is a narrow and 5 km long valley in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Cumulus Hills of the Queen Maud Mountains , it extends in a north-south orientation and opens at the northern end of the southern flank of the McGregor Glacier immediately west of the confluence of the Gatlin Glacier .
Participants in the Texas Tech University expedition to Shackleton Glacier (1964-1965) named the valley after Daniel T. Cheu, a member of the United States Army flight unit that provided logistical support for the research trip.
