Chiesa dell'Angelo Custode ( German : Guardian Angel Church ), also called Venosta Chapel or Chiesetta degli Angeli Custodi, is a Roman Catholic church in the center of Tirano in the Italian province of Sondrio , Lombardy region . The church belongs to the ecclesiastical region of Lombardy , the Diocese of Como , and is dedicated to the Guardian Angels .

The Chiesa dell'Angelo Custode is structurally part of the Palazzo Visconti Venosta and is located in Via Visconti Venosta. The church is located at about 451 m. ü. M. not far from the Adda on the edge of the old town near the Porta Bormina . The church was a private place of worship of the Venosta family and was built in the 15th century and significantly rebuilt in the late 17th and 19th centuries. The wooden altar from the 19th century was created by the deaf and mute painter Felice Carbonera ( Valtellina ).
