Chilly was an international disco band that existed from 1978 to 1983.

Career

Chilly was produced and founded by the German composer and author Bernt Möhrle, who also composed most of the songs. The band was u. a. successful in the USA (Billboard Dance Charts 37) and received gold in South Africa for For Your Love . The main singers of the group were the German Ute Weber and the American Brad Howell from New York. Howell later lent his voice to the Milli Vanilli group . Other members of the formation were the American Oscar Pearson, who represented Howell optically but did not sing himself, as well as Werner Südhoff from Germany and Andrea Linz (original line-up 1978), who was replaced in 1979 by Sofia Eyango from Cameroon .

The group's best-known hits were For Your Love , the cover of a song by the Yardbirds , Come to LA , Simply a Love Song , Secret Lies , We Are the Popkings and Johnny Loves Jenny .
