the accident

The plane was parked overnight at sub-zero temperatures at Baotou Airport, which caused ice to form on the wings . There was no aircraft de-icing before departure for Shanghai .

The crew initiated the take-off at 8:20 a.m. Immediately after takeoff, the pilots lost as a result of stall control of the plane. The CRJ200 barely gained any altitude.
