The SV Rotation Neu Kaliss is a German sports club from Neu Kaliss in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district . Home is the Eldeaue stadium , which can accommodate 1,000 spectators. The club is in the tradition of SG Neu Kaliss .
Football section
The SV Rotation Neu Kaliss was founded in 1923 under the name SG Neu Kaliss . As a result of the war-related dissolution of the previous Gauliga Nordmark , Neu Kaliss, which was always in the lower class, was integrated into the newly created Gauliga Mecklenburg in the 1942/43 season , but withdrew its team prematurely from the game, analogous to WSG Schwerin .
In 1945 the sports community was re-established and, when the Aktivist sports association joined, it initially appeared under the name of Aktivist Neu Kaliss . By changing various carrier companies, the company sports association acted in the following period as New Kaliß tractor , rotary New Kaliß-Malliß and rotation Neu Kaliss in Schwerin's operation. At the sporting level, the Mecklenburgers initially acted in the Schwerin district class area. In 1953/54 Neu Kaliß, together with Aufbau Sternberg, achieved the first promotion to the third-class district league Schwerin , which was held until 1956. In 1962 the brief return to the top division in Schwerin was successful, followed by relegation again in 1963 together with the Ludwigslust and Veritas Wittenberge unit . In 1962, Traktor reached the final of the Schwerin District Cup (also known as the tractor cup ), which was lost to Traktor Plate .
At the league level, Neu Kaliss was only active in the fourth or fifth class district class area until 1990; a return to the district league was not successful until 1990. The club, renamed SV Rotation Neu Kaliß , has played since then without exception in the local area of south-west Mecklenburg. The current league is the state class V Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
