↓ District Leagues

The Gauliga (later: regional league) Nordmark was from 1933/34 one of 16 squadrons of the nationwide newly established soccer Gauliga . It was operated by the DFB or the DRL football department until 1941/42 and covered the area of the former NFV districts of Greater Hamburg , Schleswig-Holstein and Lübeck-Mecklenburg as well as the clubs from Harburg and Wilhelmsburg in 1933/34 and again from 1937 . In the 1939/40 season the league was divided into two seasons (seasons A and B ) after a break in play because of the beginning of the war, and the championship was played out between the season winners Hamburger SV and Eimsbütteler TV . Record title holder is Eimsbütteler TV with five championships ahead of HSV with four. Other clubs were never able to take first place. In 1942, the Nordmark sports area was dissolved due to the war and the clubs in the area league were assigned to the new, smaller Gauligen Hamburg , Mecklenburg and Schleswig-Holstein .
