The Gauliga Bohemia and Moravia was one of the top leagues in the era of National Socialism . In the sports area class that existed between 1943 and 1944, the regional champion of Bohemia and Moravia was determined, who represented the Sportgau in the final round of the German football championship .
history
The Gauliga Böhmen-Moravia was established on April 1, 1943 under the leadership of SS-Obersturmführer Max Kopischke. Most of the clubs from Bohemia and Moravia previously played in the Gauliga Sudetenland , the clubs in the sports circles Brno and Iglau previously played in the Gauliga Donau-Alpenland . In the 1943/44 season, 14 teams divided into two groups took part in the Gauliga. MSV Brno became Gaumeister and qualified for the German football championship 1943/44 , when Brno was eliminated in the first round after a 3: 6 home defeat against First Vienna FC . The 1944/45 season was to be played in three seasons, due to the war there was no more play. After the Second World War , Bohemia and Moravia became part of Czechoslovakia again , and the German sports clubs were dissolved.

In the 1943/44 season, 14 teams divided into two groups took part in the Gauliga. In the group Bohemia played six teams that group Moravia consisted of eight teams. Table statuses are only partially passed.
