The Gauliga Mecklenburg 1943/44 was the second and last season of the Gauliga Mecklenburg of the German Football Association . The Gauliga Mecklenburg was played again this season in a group of ten teams. The Gau championship was secured by LSV Rerik and qualified for the German soccer championship 1943/44 , in which the team was eliminated in the first round after a 4-6 defeat against HSV Groß Born .

This was Mecklenburg's last Gaume Championship played. In the coming season, it was planned to be held in four district seasons. It is currently not known whether this was started. After Germany surrendered, all sports and football clubs in the Soviet occupation zone were dissolved.
