The Gauliga Sudetenland 1943/44 was the sixth and last season of the Gauliga Sudetenland of the football department . After the teams from the east of the Sportgau were assigned to the newly created Gauliga Böhmen-Moravia , this year's Gauliga Sudetenland consisted of two groups with six or seven teams that played against each other in a round-robin tournament . The two group winners met in two finals and determined the Gaumeister. In the end, the NSTG Brüx was able to prevail with two clear victories against the NSTG Prosetitz and thus qualified for the German soccer championship 1943/44 . In this case, the Brüxers were eliminated in the first round after a clear 8-0 home defeat against 1. FC Nürnberg .
This was the last season of the Gauliga Sudetenland. The 1944/45 season was canceled after a few games due to the war. After Germany surrendered, the Sudetenland was reintegrated into Czechoslovakia . All Germans were expelled from this area by the Beneš decrees . The clubs were dissolved.
