The Gauliga Sudetenland 1940/41 was the third season of the Gauliga Sudetenland of the football department . This season, the Gauliga Sudetenland was played again in two seasons in a round- robin tournament . The two season winners then met in a final game. The Gaume Championship was secured for the first time by NSTG Prague after a 4-2 win against LSV Pilsen and thus qualified for the German football championship in 1940/41 . In this, the Prague retired in a group with Dresdner SC and Tennis Borussia Berlin with one draw and three defeats. During this season there were several game cancellations and withdrawals due to the war-related lack of players at various clubs.
