The NSTG Prague , completely National Socialist gymnastics community Prague , was a German sports club from Prague occupied by the German Empire .

history

The NSTG Prague was formed in 1940 as a merger of several clubs, including FC Deutscher Sportbrüder Prague , which was founded on April 27, 1899 under the name Spielvereinigung Prag and two years later received its name, which was valid until 1940.

In the first season, the NSTG was able to win season 2 of the Gauliga Sudetenland . Then they went to the playoff for the Gauliga championship in Schreckenstein against LSV Pilsen and won 4-2. Thus, the Prague reached the final round of the German championship . There you hardly had a chance against Dresdner SC and Tennis Borussia Berlin and closed subgroup 1b with a draw and three defeats.

In the following season, the NSTG Prague competed in the Gauliga Sudeten-Mitte and won it sovereignly. In the final round of the Sudeten Championship, however, they only came third in the group. After the season they finally withdrew voluntarily.

In 1945 the NSTG Prague was finally extinguished.
