The Gauliga Wartheland 1943/44 was the third season of the Gauliga Wartheland of the National Socialist Football Department in occupied Poland. This season, the teams were played again in a group in a round-robin tournament with ten teams. In the end, the BSG SDW Posen prevailed and was Gaumeister in Wartheland for the second time. Through this championship, the Poznan qualified for the German football championship 1943/44 , in which they were eliminated in the first round after a clear 7-0 away defeat against STC Hirschberg .

This was the last season of the Gauliga Wartheland. Due to the war, not all games could be played during this season. As the Red Army advanced, the Wartheland was also recaptured bit by bit. For the coming season a game operation in four seasons with a total of 18 teams was planned. However, this was no longer started due to the war, instead there was a city championship in Litzmannstadt, among other places , in which the Reichsbahn SG Litzmannstadt was able to prevail. Furthermore, there were various friendlies, due to a lack of players, sometimes against teams whose players did not know each other before and who got together especially for such games.
