Venues Gauliga Kurhessen 1943/44

The Gauliga Kurhessen 1943/44 was the third season of the Gauliga Kurhessen in football and at the same time the last to be completed. As in many other divisions, the external circumstances of the Second World War and the lack of players made the clubs to create. Even before the start of the round, CSC 03 and SV Kurhessen Kassel had formed a war game community, with the newly promoted TuRa / TuSpo Kassel another emergency community entered the top division. After the air raid on Kassel on October 22, 1943 , gaming operations came to a complete standstill by early 1944. From January 1944, 1. BC Sport and BV 06 Kassel also merged to form a KSG, but it is not known whether this team was still taking part in the championship round. The last champion in this division - in 1944/45 there was no more play - was the team from Borussia Fulda , which defeated the eventual champions Dresdner SC 2: 9 in the round of 16 of the final round of the German championship .
