The Post SG Posen was during the Second World War a short-lived sports club from the city of Poznan in occupied Poland .

history

For the 1941/42 season the SG took part in the Gauliga Wartheland for the first time . There the club was grouped into season 1 and reached there at the end of the season the fifth and penultimate place. Due to the withdrawal of the one place above Reichsbahn SG Posen at the end of the season, the club did not descend. In the next season, the two seasons were combined in league with ten teams. With 14:22 points, the team was able to achieve seventh place at the end of the season. On May 9, 1943, the club was supposed to compete against SG Posen in qualifying for the Tschammer Cup 1943 . However, the game was rated without a fight for the Post SG . After the 1943/44 season , the club ended up only with 9:19 points in ninth place and was relegated. For the next season, no more games could be started anyway. At the latest after the end of the war and the reconquest of the Wartheland by the Red Army , the association was then dissolved.
