The NSTG Komotau (completely National Socialist Turngemeinde Komotau ) was a German sports club from Komotau , which existed from 1939 to 1945. The club acted in the short time of its existence in the Gauliga Sudetenland . The home site was the Komotau sports field , which had space for 8,000 spectators.
Football section
The NSTG Komotau was created in 1939 from the German FK Komotau and the connection of the local clubs. The NSTG Komotau was incorporated into the Gauliga Sudetenland in the year it was founded, which the club held until it was dissolved in 1944.
On a sporting level, the team from the Erzgebirge played mostly in the top regions of the table, but had no realistic chance of winning the Sudeten German championship against the established teams of Warnsdorfer FK and NSTG Brüx .
In 1944 the club was withdrawn from gaming prematurely and dissolved.
