The German ice hockey championship in 1942 was the 26th edition of these championships . At the same time it formed the 3rd German War Championship. At war championships, the clubs were allowed to enter into so-called war syndicates (KSG). In the championship considered here, the East Prussian clubs VfK Königsberg and Rastenburger SV made use of it.
Abbreviations: Sp = games, S = wins, U = draws, N = defeats
Finals
The war events prevented the championship from ending properly. First, Vienna and Riessersee withdrew their teams. The subsequent scheduled final between Mannheim and the LTTC Rot-Weiß was also canceled at short notice.
