The German ice hockey championship in 1927 was the eleventh edition of these championships .

The championship games were initially planned for January 15 and 16, 1927 in Füssen . Due to the weather, they had to be moved to the same location on February 5th and 6th. The championship was only a week after the European championship . This clash of dates led to the defending champion Berliner Schlittschuhclub not taking part because not all top performers were available. The Bavarian runner-up HG Nürnberg and the East Prussian champion VfB Königsberg could not compete either.
