The Bavarian ice hockey championship 1926/27 won the SC Riessersee .

Riessersee and - after the retirement of runner-up HG Nürnberg and a qualification - ESV Füssen started for Bavaria in the German ice hockey championship in 1927 .

The final, originally scheduled for January 23rd, had to be postponed by a week due to the repetition of the semi-finals.

After the German championship had to be postponed, the Bavarian runner-up HG Nürnberg could not compete. Therefore, the semi-final losers of the Bavarian Championship played 3rd place and thus a successor for the German Championship.
