The German ice hockey championship in 1933 was the 17th edition of these championships .
The preliminary round took place from January 21 to 23, 1933 in Munich on the ice rink in the Old Botanical Garden . After a protest, it was necessary to repeat the final, which could only be played on December 16 of the same year, also in Munich, in the Prinzregentenstadion .
Regional championships
- The Berlin ice skating club won the Berlin ice hockey championship in 1932/33
- In the final of the Bavarian Championship, SC Riessersee defeated EV Füssen 2-0.
- The VfL Rastenburg defeated in the final of the East Prussian Championship the Rastenburger SV 3: 0th
- The Silesian champion was EV Hindenburg , who defeated the Breslau EV in three finals but did not take part in the German championship.

The decisive goal for Riessersee came after a confusing situation, whereby the gate judge had initially recognized "goal", but the referee refused this recognition. After a long discussion, the referee finally recognized the hit. Against this, an immediate protest was directed by the Berlin team, which was granted. The due replay could only be played eleven months after the actual championship.
