The 1959/60 season of the ice hockey Bundesliga was the second season of the highest German ice hockey league . The German champion was SC Riessersee , which won its eighth title and relegated series champion EV Füssen to second place after seven championships in a row. The ESV Kaufbeuren failed in the relegation to league champion TuS Eintracht Dortmund and thus rose to the second highest division.
