Michael Hobelsberger (born September 25, 1935 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen ; † November 11, 2004 ) was a German ice hockey goalkeeper who was part of the German national team at the Olympic Winter Games in 1960 and 1964 .

Michael Hobelsberger played from 1953/54 to 1967/68 for SC Riessersee , with whom he won the German championship title in 1959/60 .

For the German national team, in addition to the Winter Olympics, he took part in the ice hockey world championship in 1963 and in the B world championship in 1965 . He made a total of 44 international matches for Germany.

Life

Michael Hobelsberger worked as a cashier at the casino in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. He died on November 11, 2004.
