The Wiener Eissport-Gemeinschaft (also Wiener EG ) was an Austrian ice sports club from Vienna , which emerged from the merger of the Viennese ice-skating club with EK Engelmann Wien in October 1939, under pressure from the sports director Kozich . After the Second World War , the two clubs separated again before they merged again in 1948. In 1951 the two clubs separated for good.

The greatest successes of the merged ice hockey team of the Vienna EG are the German championship title in 1940 and the Austrian championship titles in 1949 , 1950 and 1951 .
