The National Socialist gymnastics community Witkowitz (short: NSTG Witkowitz ) was a sports club based in today's district of Vítkovice in the statutory Czech town of Ostrava .

history

The club was able to qualify for the first final round of the Tschammer Cup in 1940 and met SC Hertha Breslau on September 18 , which the team defeated 6-0 at home. In the second final round , however, the NSTG lost 9-1 at the Wiener Sport-Club .

The NSTG rose for the 1941/42 season from the district league to the Gauliga Sudetenland and was incorporated into the East relay. After this season the team ended up in second place in the table with 14: 6 points. However, the team withdrew at the end of the season. The team was then again in the 1944/45 season of the Gauliga Böhmen-Moravia in the group Moravia-North-East . Due to the war there was no more gaming. After the capitulation of the German Empire, the Sudetenland was reintegrated into Czechoslovakia and the association was dissolved.
