The NSTG Budweis , fully National Socialist gymnastics community Budweis , was a German sports club from Budweis in southern Bohemia , today's České Budějovice .
history
The NSTG Budweis was founded in 1939, as is customary for National Socialist gymnastics communities , as an amalgamation of the local clubs in Budweis. The team played in the 1st class of the Upper Danube district in 1941/42 , i.e. in Austria (at the time Ostmark ), was champion, but in 1942 was assigned to the middle group of the Gauliga Sudetenland and was able to compete there before runner-up NSTG Aussig for the championship round of the Sudetenland qualify, but failed there behind MSV Brno . In the following season, the team was assigned like other clubs in the eastern part of the Sportgau of the Gauliga Bohemia-Moravia . There the team in the Bohemia group missed the finals for the regional championship as runner-up behind LSV Prague-Gbell . It is unclear whether games were still going on in the 1944/45 season. In 1945 the association went out.
