The Gauliga Nordmark 1933/34 was the first season of the Gauliga Nordmark in football. Eimsbütteler TV secured the championship one point ahead of Hamburger SV . Eimsbütteler TV qualified for the final round of the German championship and was eliminated after the group stage. The relegation ranks were initially occupied by the Lübeck police and Schwerin FC 03 , but because the clubs from Wilhelmsburg and Harburg were relocated to Lower Saxony , the Lübeckers received a second chance, which they took advantage of (see promotion round). Victoria Hamburg and FC St. Pauli rose from the district classes .

Promotion lap
Since Viktoria Willhelmsburg had to change the Sportgau for the coming season, the penultimate SV Police Lübeck was allowed to take part in the promotion round. For Borussia Harburg (also to Lower Saxony) the district class runner-up FC St. Pauli moved up into the promotion round. This was ended after the decision, missing games were no longer played.
