Viktoria Wilhelmsburg was a sports club from the Hamburg district of Wilhelmsburg . The first soccer team played for three years in the Gauligen Nordmark , Lower Saxony and Hamburg .

On June 5, 1910, Wilhelmsburger FC was founded, which at the end of the same year merged with FC Viktoria Wilhelmsburg, which was also founded in 1910, to form Wilhelmsburger FC Viktoria . On March 26, 1917, FC Hertha Wilhelmsburg joined the club.

In 1919 Viktoria rose to the Northern Hanover District League . After relegation, he was promoted to the Hamburg Elbe District League . After only one year, the club was classified in the Lower Saxony District League North Hanover, the champions of which were Victoria in 1927. At the North German Championship, the Wilhelmsburg team failed in qualifying against Holstein Kiel , and in the so-called consolation round they achieved second place behind Altona 93 . Three years later the Viktoria faced each other under local rivals Wilhelmsburg 09 in the playoff for the championship. Here 09 prevailed 3-2 in the replay. In 1933 the Viktoria reached their second championship from North Hanover , but failed in the preliminary round of the North German Championship to Arminia Hanover .

In 1933 the Wilhelmsburg family was one of the founding members of the Gauliga Nordmark. After the season 1933/34 a fourth place was reached, the club had to change in the Gauliga Lower Saxony and increased due to the poorer Torquotienten towards Hildesheim 06 from. In 1942, Viktoria returned to the top division when the club was included in the newly created Gauliga Hamburg, but was relegated again after a year. After the Second World War , Viktoria qualified for the Hamburg City League, but missed the qualification for the Oberliga Nord in 1947 . In the period that followed, Viktoria became an elevator team between the amateur league and the association league , before the third-class association league from 1957 and fourth-class association league from 1964 became the club's permanent home. In 1962, the club's sports field was destroyed by the storm surge . In 1970 the team was relegated from the Association League and returned two years later.

On July 1, 1974, Viktoria merged with TSV Veddel to form TSC Viktoria Wilhelmsburg-Veddel , which in 2003 merged with Wilhelmsburger FV and TV Jahn Wilhelmsburg to form SV Wilhelmsburg .
