The Gauliga middle 1933/34 was the first season of the Gauliga middle as the top division of the Gau middle (Gau VI). Hallescher FC Wacker
secured the first championship
with three or four points ahead of SV 08 Steinach and VfL 1911 Bitterfeld . The Halle residents deservedly qualified for participation in the final round of the German championship , but were then eliminated after the group stage. The relegation ranks were occupied by the FV Fortuna Magdeburg and the MSC Prussia in 1899 . FuCC Cricket-Viktoria Magdeburg and FV Sportfreunde Halle rose from the district classes in 1897 as direct relegation qualifiers. (Lauscha was disqualified.)
