The 1st class Magdeburg-Anhalt 1942/43 was the tenth and thus last BK season, the formerly second-class district class Magdeburg-Anhalt , which has functioned as a substructure for the Gauliga Mitte since 1933 . Performing again with 11 clubs, the season was opened. As four years ago, the last but certified first class champion was FC Preußen 02 Burg , which is now twice victorious . Since the official final table is not available for reasons that have been explained, only the state of affairs from February 28, 1943 can be viewed as a snapshot. The MSC Prussia 99 and the Magdeburger SC 1900, started as a climber, came out on top as runner-up and third. Cricket-Viktoria 1897 finished as a Gauliga-relegated coming from above, still a respectable fourth place. A total of five Magdeburg associations took part. The FV Fortuna could not prove the usual performance as last year's champion. War-related turmoil with regard to the squad and other adverse influences, almost all leagues swirled up extremely every year. For their part, Germania 03 Köthen convinced with a surprisingly solid performance and a respectable midfield position. In the second class descend turn of had to SV Wacker Bernburg and no longer competitive SC 1910 Oschersleben. A promotion relegation round was not held because the structures had to be changed again and were happy to find enough playable clubs for the second class (district classes ) to then be able to install and establish them as a subordinate second division class .
