The Magdeburger SC 1900 was a German football club from Magdeburg that existed from 1900 to 1945. The club was home to the Sachsenring cycling track .

society

Magdeburger SC was founded in 1900 under the name Magdeburger SC von 1900 . The club played consistently in the championship of the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs . The greatest success of the MSC was the championship won in the Gau Mittelelbe in the 1919/20 season , in which the longstanding dominance of the FuCC Cricket-Viktoria 1897 Magdeburg and the Magdeburg FC Viktoria 1896 was broken.

In the subsequent Central German finals, the Magdeburger SC had no realistic chance of winning the Central German championship, and only finished second to last before Dresden 06 . In 1924/25 the MSC reached fourth place again within the Elbegau, but in the following years the club no longer played a higher-class role in Central German football. Any qualifications for the Gauliga Mitte , founded in 1933, were clearly missed with eighth place (1932/33).

In 1945 the club was dissolved, a re-establishment was not carried out.
