Soccer
In the early years, only individual games at the championships of the Plauener Ballspielvereine are known. In the following championships of the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs , the Konkordia performed quite successfully. In the seasons 1911/12, 1913/14, 1915/16 and 1925/26 the championship of the Vogtland district was won. From 1920 to 1923 the Konkordia won the championship of the district of West Saxony four times in a row. In the respective finals of the Central German Championship, the club could not keep up with the strong competition from Leipzig, Dresden or Halle. In 1925 the old men became champions of Central Germany.
By winning the Plauen-Zwickau district class , Konkordia rose to the Gauliga Sachsen , one of the sixteen highest German leagues, in 1938 . In the Gauliga, the West Saxons played no significant role, as early as 1940, with the also smaller Guts Muts Dresden, the descent took place. Nationwide, the Konkordia appeared again in the Tschammerpokal in 1939 , after the opening win against SC Victoria Hamburg, the Saxons were defeated by Tennis Borussia Berlin 1: 4.
After 1945, the Plauener could no longer build on previous successes. Behind forward Plauen and WEMA construction Plauen remained chemistry significantly. Only in the 1980/81 season did Chemie Plauen rise to the then third-class district league Karl-Marx-Stadt , from which the immediate relegation followed.
Since 1990 Concordia has been operating on a regional level in West Saxony without exception.
