The Gauliga Pommern 1933/34 was the first season of the Gauliga Pommern of the German Football Association . The clubs of the Gauliga Pommern previously played in the Pomerania district of the Brandenburg Ball Game Association , as well as in the Lauenburg and Kolberg / Köslin districts of the Baltic Sports Association . The Gauliga Pomerania was divided into two groups of seven teams each. The respective group winners played the Gaume Championship in finals. SV Viktoria Stolp secured the Gau championship in the final against Stettiner SC and qualified for the German soccer championship 1933/34 , in which Stolp was eliminated in the group stage.

Relegated was next to the Kösliner SV Phoenix of SV Viktoria Stralsund , which was banned by the DFB for three months because of spectator riots and all games from January 1934 onwards were rated 0: 2 points against Stralsund.

A special feature of the Baltic Sports Association was that in the early 1930s, due to the weather conditions, the association games in the individual districts began a year earlier than the actual association final. For the 1932/33 season , therefore, the regional leagues were staged as early as autumn 1931. Following this, the individual districts began playing for the 1933/34 season in autumn 1932. Due to the political upheaval and the resulting establishment of the Sportgaue, however, there was no longer any Baltic finals in the 1933/34 season. To determine the participants in the Gauliga Pommern, however, these final tables were used and not the tables that entitle them to qualify for the Baltic finals in 1932/33.
