The Gauliga Pommern 1937/38 was the fifth season of the Gauliga Pommern of the German Football Association . The Gauliga Pommern was played for the first time in a group of ten teams this season. The Gau championship secured the second time the Stettiner SC and thus qualified for the German football championship 1937/38 . In this, the Stettiner group third in group A behind Hamburger SV and Eintracht Frankfurt and in front of Yorck Boyen Insterburg .
The two military sports clubs MSV Graf Schwerin Greifswald and MSV Mackensen Neustettin were relegated to the second-class district classes.

Promotion lap
The champions of the four second-rate district classes Grenzmark, Mitte, East and West were qualified for the promotion round. The four teams competed in a round-robin tournament with a return game, the two best-placed clubs were promoted to the Gauliga for the coming seasons.
