The FC Viktoria Schneidemühl was a German sports club from in today's Poland situated Schneidemühl .

history

In May 1915, the founding meeting took place in the Winkler inn on Schmiedestrasse. The club was given the name "FC Viktoria" and red and white was chosen as the club color. The entry in the register of associations could not be made for the time being because none of the members was 21 years old. It was not until 1916 that the club was officially entered in the association register. However, since there were Victoria Games in 1915, 1915 should also be recorded as the year of foundation in history. The club played in the Baltic Lawn and Winter Sports Association . 1920/21 was Victoria Schneidemühl district master of the district V Schneidemühl and qualified characterized for the football tournament of the circle III Pomerania. In this, Schneidemühl was eliminated in the preliminary round by a 3: 4 defeat against SC Viktoria Stargard . Even 1921/22 was district champion Viktoria Schneidemühls, by a 2: 1 victory in the first round on the SV Forward Lauenburg and a bye in the semifinals of the club reached the final of the Pomeranian football championship. The Stettiner FC Titania was a size too big for Schneidemühl, the game was lost 7-0. In the coming seasons Viktoria Schneidemühl had to admit defeat to the clubs from Deutsch Krone within the district league . In 1926/27 the district league Schneidemühl could be won again, in the Pomeranian football final round was already in the preliminary round, against the later Pomeranian football champion Stettiner SC Viktoria lost on January 23, 1927 with 4: 5. The same picture was drawn in the 1927/28 season , as district champion Schneidemühls was again in the preliminary round of the Pomeranian Championship, this time Schneidemühl lost 1: 5 to Stettin FC Titania. In 1928/29 Viktoria became district champion Schneidemühls for the last time, as in the previous year the club was defeated by Stettiner FC Titania with 1: 5 in the Pomeranian football final.

When the National Socialists came to power in 1933, the football associations were dissolved and replaced by Sportgaue . Since clubs from the district of Schneidemühl were not taken into account when the Gauliga Pommern was founded, Viktoria Schneidemühl was classified in the second-class football district class Pomerania South Department. In the same year, the FC Titania 1930 Schneidemühl joined the club. In contrast to local rivals SV Hertha Schneidemühl , Viktoria was unable to climb into the first-class Gauliga. In 1934/35 the club qualified as the winner of the district class Pommern-Süd for the promotion round to Gauliga Pommern 1935/36 , but lost to FC Pfeil Lauenburg and SV 1910 Kolberg . In 1935/36 and 1936/37 Viktoria came second in the district class behind MSV Mackensen Neustettin (1936) and Deutsch Krone (1937). In 1937/38 the club was able to win the district class again, but the club probably decided not to participate in the promotion round to the Gauliga Pomerania in 1938/39 for financial reasons. After the Second World War, Schneidemühl, which was part of the German Empire, was annexed by the Soviet Union and placed under Polish administration . The SV Hertha Schneidemühl was - like all other German clubs and facilities - forced resolved.
