The Baltic football championship of the Baltic Lawn and Winter Sports Association in 1921/22 was won by VfB Königsberg by resolution of the Baltic Lawn and Winter Sports Association. Originally, the Stettiner SC prevailed in the final tournament, as the club protested against the game rating of the game VfB Königsberg against Stettiner SC (2: 1 n. V.), whereupon the game rating was changed to a 1: 1. With this point win, Stettin prevailed with one point ahead of Königsberg and was thus allowed to take part in the German football championship 1920/21 . However, VfB Königsberg protested against the association's decision, whereupon the association called a playoff for the Baltic football championship. This game, which was not played until 1922, was then won by Königsberg and was thus able to win the championship title of the Baltic Lawn and Winter Sports Association at least retrospectively. Of course, the decision to participate in the German football championship in 1920/21 came too late.

At the German football championship in 1920/21, Stettin was eliminated in the quarter-finals despite a 1-0 half-time lead with 1: 2 against Vorwärts 90 Berlin .

Final round of the Baltic football championship

The final round of the Baltic football championship was held in the 1921/22 season in a round-robin tournament as a single round. The three district champions were qualified. On the last day of the match on March 3, 1921, VfB Königsberg received the Stettiner SC . The game ended with a 2-1 win for Königsberg in extra time (it was played a total of 135 minutes), which would have meant victory in the finals. The Stettiner SC , however, appealed against the game standings, since according to the statutes an extension of the game for games in the final round was not allowed. As a result, the association corrected the result to 1: 1 (the result after 90 minutes), making the Stettiner SC winner of the final round. As a result, Stettin was registered by the association as a Baltic participant in the German football championship. The VfB Königsberg protested again, however, after a play was called to the Baltic football championship between the two clubs. In this game, which only took place a year later, Königsberg won 3-1 and was retrospectively Baltic football champions in 1921.
