This was the first win of the Baltic football championship for the Danzigers, who thereby qualified for the German football championship 1911/12 . There, the Danzigers were eliminated in the quarter-finals after a clear 7-0 defeat on Heinrich-Ehlers-Platz against Berlin TuFC Viktoria 89 . It was the only time that a club from Gdansk could win the Baltic football championship.
