The Baltic football championship of the Baltic Sports Association in 1929/30 was won by VfB Königsberg in the final tournament four points ahead of the Stettin teams Titania and VfB . This was the eleventh and last win of the Baltic football championship for the Königsbergers, who thereby qualified for the German football championship 1929/30 . There, the Königsberg team were eliminated in the round of 16 after a clear 8-1 defeat against Dresdner SC . Titania Stettin was also qualified as the Baltic runner-up for the German soccer championship, but the Stettin team were also eliminated in the second round. In Stettin Titania lost to SpVgg Sülz 07 2: 4.
The game operation took place again first in the three districts of East Prussia, Grenzmark and Pomerania. The Stolp district moved from the Pomerania district to the newly founded Grenzmark district, which also covered the previous area known as West Prussia and Gdansk. The district champions and the runners-up of the three districts qualified for the final round of the Baltic football championship. After this season, the districts of Stettin, Gollnow and Vorpommern-Rügen moved from the Pomeranian district to the Brandenburg Ball Game Association , the two remaining districts (Schneidemühl and Köslin) were now assigned to the Grenzmark district.
In East Prussia there was again a single-track top division. For the coming season, the top division in this district has been expanded to three leagues.
Since both clubs were tied in the end, playoffs for the East Prussian football championship were necessary. The first leg took place on November 24, 1929 in Königsberg , the second leg on December 8, 1929 in Memel . Since both clubs could each win a game and an addition of the results was not planned, there was a playoff in Insterburg on December 15, 1929 .

District II Grenzmark
The Grenzmark district was founded this season from the previous Gdansk district. The West Prussia and Stolp districts were added to the existing district of Danzig. During this season, the association tried to increase the playing strength by introducing a top regional league and to keep the weather-related lost games as low as possible. The winners of the three regional leagues as well as the runner-up in Danzig qualified for the top league. For the coming season, a classic final round took place in the district, due to the further addition of circles from the Pomeranian district.
Circle I Stolp
There was an autumn and a spring round in the Stolp district. Since the autumn round was decisive for qualifying for the district league, only this is shown here. Viktoria Stolp also won the spring round .
The Pomerania district was divided into five districts, with the Szczecin district again subdivided into two departments. The champions of the individual districts qualified for the Pomeranian finals. From the Stettin district, the first and second placed in both groups qualified for the Pomeranian finals.
The first leg took place on December 15, 1929 in Stettin, the second leg on December 22, 1929 in Stettin.
