The Stralsunder SV 07 was a German football club from the Hanseatic city of Stralsund that existed from 1907 to 1945. Home was the parade ground Frankenkaserne .
society
Stralsund 07 was founded in 1907 as an independent football club by players from MTV 1860 Stralsund under the name Stralsunder FV 07 (from 1909 Stralsunder SV 07 ). The club initially competed in the championships of the North German Football Association in Western Pomerania , then switched to the championship of the Baltic Lawn and Winter Sports Association from 1925 .
On a sporting level, the club reached the North German finals in the 1923/24 and 1924/25 seasons, failing both attempts prematurely at Hamburger SV with 0: 8 and 0:14. Stralsund 07 did not make the leap to Gauliga Pommern , created in 1933, and in 1938 it was again renamed Reichspost SV Stralsund .
In 1945 the club was prematurely withdrawn from gaming operations and dissolved.
