The SV Deutsch Krone was a short-lived sports club in the German Empire based in what was then the district of Deutsch Krone , the area of ​​which now extends roughly across the Powiat Wałecki .

Beginnings in the Baltic football championship

The club took part in the Baltic Football Championship for the first time in the 1921/22 season. In the 1922/23 season he was able to qualify for the Pomerania finals by taking first place in his group with 26-0 points. There it was in the semifinals after a 1: 3 against SV Sturm Lauenburg . The club was also able to finish first in the next season , but the path in the final round was already over in the preliminary round with a 4-0 defeat at Stettiner SC . After the 1924/25 season , only second place in the group could be achieved with 19: 3 points, but the club was still able to qualify for participation in the final round. In the final, the club failed again in the preliminary round, this time with 1: 6 against Stettiner FC Titania . After that, the club could no longer qualify for the finals and played in the first division until the 1931/32 season . This season clubs were able to relegate to the 2nd class for the first time , due to the ninth place and only one victory at the end of the season, the SV also had to go into the second division.

Time during World War II

For the 1940/41 season the club rose from 2nd class to 1st class Pomerania . In the first season, the SV achieved third place with a balanced score of 8: 8. This placement could be repeated in the next season . After the 1934/44 season, third place on the table was again at the end of the season.

For the 1944/45 season , all clubs that could still take part in the game were divided into the Gauliga Pomerania and incorporated into so-called sports district groups. The Schneidemühl group of the East section was assigned to the SV . Before the end of the season, the game was canceled again. Results from this season are no longer recorded. At the latest at the end of the Second World War , the association was also dissolved.
