The Berlin soccer championship 1932/33 was the twenty-second and last under the Association of Brandenburg Ball Game Clubs (VBB) held Berlin soccer championship . The championship was first held in the districts of Berlin-Brandenburg and Pomerania, the winners of which then met in a final round. In the end, Hertha BSC was able to secure the Berlin soccer championship for the eleventh time. With this victory, the club qualified for the German soccer championship 1932/33 , in which the Herthaners surprisingly eliminated in the round of 16 after a 1: 4 away defeat against SV Hindenburg Allenstein . The BTuFC Viktoria 1889 was also qualified as Berlin runner-up for the German soccer championship and was eliminated in the round of 16 after a 1: 4 defeat against Schalke 04 .
It was the last Berlin championship of the VBB. In the course of the conformity, the Association of Brandenburg Ball Game Clubs was dissolved a few months after the National Socialists came to power in 1933. The clubs from Berlin and Brandenburg were assigned to the newly created Gauliga Berlin-Brandenburg , clubs from Pomerania were assigned to the Gauliga Pommern .
As usual, the Berlin-Brandenburg district was initially played in two groups with 10 participants each in a round-robin tournament with a round trip. The two group winners qualified for the final tournament. The Pomeranian District first played the participants in the Pomeranian finals in three leagues. Their winner was then also qualified for the final round of the VBB. The Berlin Cup winner from 1932 (the final was on December 26, 1932) was also qualified for the final. Since Hertha BSC won the cup, but was also qualified via the league, the cup finalist Berliner SV 1892 moved up.
